FAQ

Digital downloads

How do I get my files?

Right after checkout there is a download button on your order confirmation page, and the same link arrives in your confirmation email. Nothing is posted to you.

Can I print them more than once?

Yes, as many times as you like for yourself, your family or your classroom.

Can I sell the prints or share the files?

Please don't. Your purchase is a personal-use licence: no reselling, no re-uploading, and no using the art in products you sell. If you would like a classroom-wide or commercial licence, get in touch.

Printing at home

A4 or US Letter?

Printables come in A4, and in US Letter where the product page says so. If your printer uses the other size, choose "Fit to page" in the print settings.

What paper should I use?

Colouring pages: ordinary printer paper, or heavier 120 to 160 gsm paper for markers.
Wall art: matte card or photo paper, or take the file to a print shop.

Printed goods (print-on-demand)

How are printed items made?

Art prints, wearables and mugs are printed to order by our print-on-demand partner and posted to you from there. Nothing is made until you order it, so there is no warehouse of unsold stock.

How long does delivery take, and what does it cost?

Standard shipping is free within Australia. Each product page gives the expected delivery time, which includes a few business days to print the item.

What if it arrives damaged or misprinted?

Send us a photo as soon as you can, ideally within 30 days of delivery, and we'll replace it or refund you. Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law are not limited to this. See our refund policy.

The species

Are the animals and plants real?

Yes, all of them except the drop bear. Every real species shows its common name, its scientific name, and its EPBC and IUCN status with the date we checked. The owner, an environmental scientist, checks these facts before a product goes on sale.

What does "fictional" mean for the drop bear?

The drop bear is not a real animal. It is a tall tale told to visitors. Our drop bear file is a joke file: it is stamped "UNCONFIRMED SIGHTING", its scientific name is invented, and it is labelled fictional everywhere it appears. It only appears on digital products and art prints.
